It was good, went in for crisps n juice for me and dog food for Diesel, got all three n "Tootsies" too.Only one checkout working but didn't mind cause I was too busy trying not to laugh as three schoolkids discussed how Nessie didn't exist, that she was made up by Balamory so little kids would watch it more.
I used to love shopping at my local Lidl and would always recommend it to others however recently it had gone down hill dramatically. Empty shelves, rotting fruit and veg. Staff outside the shop smoking. For 30 plus minutes. Toilets dirty and no toilet roll. Has there been a change of manager and reduction of staff?
Bit rough around the edges. As with all Lidl stores the trolley baskets have been improved a lot as have the conveyor system for check out. The store is kept clean and tidy and the manager is very good.
Good produce at good prices! Would avoid fresh berries and fruit like grapes, raspberries, etc, as they seem to go mouldy incredibly quickly. Apples, bananas etc all fine though.
Good. Shelves well stocked with good variety of stock. Small crit., there is some same stock from different manufacturers in different parts of shop and can result in leaving items on other shelves. Till op was pleasant and shop clean.
